Lee's Typewriter

A couple of years ago, a dear friend's mother passed away. As they were going through her things, he said he thought of me when he came across this old typewriter. It is one of the most cherished gifts I've ever received and because of this, typing on the old-faithful holds a certain ceremony for me.

Oh how wonderful! That is a really special gift. My mom always had a typewriter and somehow it disappeared...I bet there will be a typewritten letter in my future!

I love old typewriters! I don't know if there's a much more satisfying noise than the clickety-clack of the keys when you're punching away at it. It makes you feel like you're really writing something special. Too bad my computer isn't making that noise as I comment on your blog post!
