I am currently reading Life is a Verb by Pati Digh and I keep going back to page 12 to read & re-read this poem.
I can't exactly put my finger on what calls me to come back to this page over & over. Maybe it's the novel idea (novel to me) that God is a laid-back woman who calls people sweetcakes & is an encourager of life. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it half as much as I do.

Love the poem. I am sure God has "feminine" traits. I want God to call me sugar and scratch my back. That's just me. Am ordering that verb book...
