Those of you who know me, know that I am not keen on heights. So, I'm sure you can understand my initial trepidation at climbing the ladder on Temple #5. Once I was going though, I had no problem...not even on the way back down. I did put my hands all over a guys knees as I moved along the top trying to pass him & to make my way back down.

This little guy put on quite a show for me that afternoon. He was surprisingly close.
You can see that this was a beautiful day! Though I was in the jungle & sweating, it wasn't nearly as stifling as I'd expected. The clear skies made the views from the pyramids so breathtaking.

oh my gosh-- breathtaking! I love the monkey shot! Sorry I missed you tonight. we were having dinner out on the deck.. by the time I saw there was a message- I figured you were in bed.. tomorrow? You can call on the way to work if you want to--I am getting up early early. like 5.
I love the mayan pics at the beginning , they are beautiful.
